Huang JinSong
Huang JinSong was born in 1966, in Beijing, and grown up in Xian. The influence and impressions of these two empire cities has been frequently reflected in Huang JinSong’s art.
The paintings we are presenting in our gallery are among Huang’s new series that pays the artist’s tribute to the disappearing city sceneries of traditional Chinese residential architectures, especially, the now well-known old Chinese landmark, “Hutong”.
Huang JinSong got his professional training as a painter and his BA degree from Jilin Art Academy in Jilin province of China. He is now living and working in Beijing as an oil-painting professor, the vice Chairman of the “Art Association of China and the West”, as well as a special gust artist at the “China Oil-Painting Art Center”.
