Huang Yaqi

Huang Yaqi was born in 1958 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province of China. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 1982, and became a fulltime faculty member at the Academy. Since then, he has been on different leading positions in Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts where he is currently a professor as well as the Director of Watercolor in the Academy's Printmaking Department. As an artist and art educator, Huang Yaqi has achieved wide-ranging accomplishments.  These include well-received publications, exhibitions, and many high-ranking awards in China's contemporary art fields.
