Kong Ping

Kong Ping has been working as a professional painter for 20 years since graduating from the Fine Art Academy in Tian Jin, China. He has been selected to exhibit in the prestigious National Fine Art Exhibition of China several times, and was well received by the nation's art reviews. Through years of experimenting, Kong Ping has successfully created his own artistic style which is vividly infused through the color schemes, renderings and brush strokes of his painting. His landscape paintings mix vivid and flowing Chinese ink brush lines with Western modern color, tone and composition. His portrait paintings, mostly on paper, show a strong expressionistic influence through bold and bright color swaths. His paintings also have a humorous touch that is deeply rooted in Chinese folk art.
