XiaoJiu Shi Xiaojiu Shi grew up during China's turbulent Cultural Revolution. She spent her formative years as a farm laborer in Liaoning province in the 1970s. Xiaojiu attended Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and after completing her education there, became a full time faculty member of the academy. During the next twelve years, she collected numerous awards and gained wide recognition for her work in China. Xiaojiu received her Master of Fine Arts degree in the United States. For many years she taught art, as well as pursued her creative career, in San Jose, California. Today, Xiaojiu Shi has established a new art career in Santa Fe, New Mexico. |
