Yang Yu

Born in 1956, in Jilin Province of China, Yang Yu got his BA in 1991 from Zhejiang Academy of Fine Art, one of the famous “Three Big” Art Academies of China. Not like most his peers who rather moving up to big cities, Yang Yu chose going back to his home town after graduation.  He had taught Art in a collage for several years, and been pointed, by the art committee in his city, to be in charge of the municipal art consul. Yang Yu has, no matter doing or being anything else, never stopped painting, while his creative impulse and the hard-trained skills never leave him either.
